Registration Open for Excel 2013-Part 1 Workshop

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Registration is open for a Microsoft Excel class Friday, June 26, that provides hands-on, instructor-led computer training from the University of Arkansas Global Campus.

This beginner-level Excel class is set for 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 26 at the Global Campus, 2 E. Center St. on the downtown Fayetteville square. Participants can register online. The cost is $159, but U of A faculty, staff, students and Alumni Association members pay $99. Seating is limited to 12 people.

Hands-on instruction will be led by Microsoft Master Certified instructors using Microsoft Office Specialist courseware, and a textbook is included. It is the first in a three-class series for Excel training.

Part 1 provides participants with a basic Excel education and marketable job skills. Participants will learn to perform calculations, modify and format worksheets, manage workbooks and more.
