FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Bill Harrison, B.S.I.E. 1966, and Past President/Life Member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, received the Andrew T. Boggs Service Award. The award recognizes an Exceptional Service Award recipient for continuing unselfish, dedicated and distinguished service. Harrison was one of 94 recognized  for their contributions to the society and the built environment industry at the group's 2015 Annual Conference in Atlanta June 27-July 1. Harrison is chief executive officer of Harrison Energy Partners, Little Rock and served as president of the Arkansas Academy of Industrial Engineering from 1995-1996.

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers was founded in 1894 and is a global society advancing human well-being through sustainable technology for the built environment. The society and its members focus on building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, refrigeration and sustainability within the industry. Through research, standards writing, publishing and continuing education, the group shapes tomorrow's built environment today. The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers was formed by the 1959 merger of American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, founded in 1894 and the American Society of Refrigerating Engineers founded in 1904.
