Network Maintenance to Affect Services and Campus Internet, August 2

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- IT Services will perform network maintenance between midnight and 10 a.m. on Sunday, August 2. Some online services, as well as Internet access in several buildings, will be affected.

From midnight to 3 a.m., Wi-Fi will be unavailable in several buildings during an upgrade of wireless network equipment. For a list of buildings included in the maintenance, see http://itstatus.uark.edu/calendar.

Although outages are not expected from 7 to 10 a.m. when the load balancer software will be updated, some online services and campus Internet access could be affected. For details, see http://itstatus.uark.edu/calendar.

Additional maintenance from 7 to 10 a.m. will result in wired Internet connections being down for five to 10 seconds in several buildings. Wi-Fi could be unavailable for up to five minutes. For a list of buildings included in the maintenance, see http://itstatus.uark.edu/calendar.
