U of A Once Again Listed Among Nation's Best by Princeton Review

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The University of Arkansas has been a regular in The Princeton Review’s annual Best Colleges publication for more than 15 years. That tradition continues in the 2016 edition, The Best 380 Colleges.

The U of A received its highest ratings in quality of life and “green”, a recently added category which refers to environmental and sustainability programs.

The Best 380 Colleges doesn’t rank the schools, but the publication does provide profiles of each institution. The profiles are based on information from the individual colleges and universities, and from surveys completed by students at the schools.

The student responses make up a considerable portion of each profile. For the University of Arkansas the “Students Say” section describes the campus as “affordable, ‘student-centered’ and large without being intimidating. ‘The facilities are exceptional’ and otherwise “state-of-the-art.” The Honors College is ‘wonderful’.”

Each profile has information on a variety of categories, including Campus Life, Students, Academics, Selectivity and Financial Facts. Within these categories each school is rated in areas such as quality of life, academics, admissions and financial aid. The ratings are on a scale of 60-99, and also based on student survey responses and campus information.
