FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Sam M. Walton College of Business is hosting its 23rd annual Walton College Block Party between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Shollmier Plaza, to welcome students to campus.

"During the Block Party, students can meet faculty, learn about student organizations and grab lunch," said Interim Dean Matthew A. Waller. "It's a fun and informative way to kick off the fall semester."

Walton students, faculty and staff will enjoy free hot dogs, pizza, frozen custard and drinks, along with music and informational booths set up along the plaza courtyard area. Organizations and clubs available to Walton students will participate in the event.

The Block Party is made possible through sponsors Pepsi, Shake's Frozen Custard, Frito Lay and Marvin's Savers Club Fayetteville.
