Lunchtime Workshop Provides Tips on Offering 'Outrageous Customer Service'

ROGERS, Ark. — Businesses can step up customer service by employing tips offered during a lunchtime workshop Tuesday, Aug. 25, by the Global Campus in Rogers

Participants in the “3 Crucial Tips for Providing Outrageous Customer Service” class can meet face-to-face from noon to 1 p.m. in Suite 402, 3300 Market St., or learn via online simulcast.

Registration is available online. The cost is $29.

This class is the second in the "Lunchtime Workplace 'Tips' Series" offered by the Global Campus. Future classes in this series include "Tricks to Build Data Selection Lists in Excel" on Sept. 8 and "5 Pivot Table Tricks and Tips" on Nov. 10.

Brenda Gullett of Brenda Gullett Associates of Fayetteville will teach the “3 Crucial Tips” class.

“Most often we associate the word ‘outrageous’ with something being shocking or extreme,” Gullett said. “The truth is that most customer service is so poor that providing the basics of service makes this behavior ‘outrageous’ in comparison.”

Particpants will learn:

  • If they have a heart for customer services
  • Who your boss really is
  • Why we embrace the complaining customer

“Brenda (Gullett) is known for her dynamic and interactive presentations,” said Judith Tavano, director of professional development programs at the Global Campus. “This class will be no exception. Get ready to view customer service in a whole new light.”

Participants can earn one recertification hour from the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Certification Institute.
