UARK Class of 2018 forms the 'A' at the 2014 Freshman Pep Rally.

UPDATE: Time moved slightly earlier: Incoming students can prepare for the first football game of the season by learning all the University of Arkansas traditions at the Freshman Pep Rally tonight, Thursday, Aug. 27, at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The pep rally begins at 8:20 p.m. with gates opening at 7:45 p.m. All incoming students are invited and encouraged to attend.

Recognized as the "Best Campus Tradition" for 2013-14 by the National Association of Campus Activities, the Freshman Pep Rally gives freshmen the chance to learn all the U of A traditions: the Fight Song, the cheers, and most importantly how to call the Hogs. The pep rally ends with the Class of 2019 walking onto the football field to have their picture taken in the shape of a giant "A."
