Free Counseling Through Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program is a benefit provided by your employer. Your employer contracts with EAP as a result of commitment to the well being of valued employees. EAP provides counseling, information and referral (if indicated) for employees and their immediate family members. This also includes all graduate assistants and their family members.

The Employee Assistance Program is ideal for individuals and families experiencing personal distress, or simply seeking to improve health or well being. EAP provides short-term, solution-focused counseling, which is free and confidential. They have both male and female counselors as well as evening hours. Their office is located on 300 N. College Ave., suite 201 E. Learn more about the Employee Assistance Program by going to eap.uams.edu. They are only a call away.

The Employee Assistance Program would also like the opportunity to attend any staff or faculty meetings just to take a few minutes to remind employees about services available through the EAP. Please call at 1-800-542-6021 or email Mike Huddleston at huddlestonjohnm@uams.edu if you would like them to attend any of your meetings.
