National Student Day, Today, at the U of A Bookstore
Stop by the University of Arkansas Bookstore, located at 616 N. Garland Avenue, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today to celebrate National Student Day. The Bookstore will have free food & smoothies available to celebrate the fifth annual National Student Day event.
The purpose of National Student Day is to celebrate and promote social responsibility by college students! Students are encouraged to take a selfie at the Bookstore and share it on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #GIVEME5NSD. For every entry received, the National Association of College Stores will donate $1 to Reading is Fundamental. In addition to supporting a great cause, students will also be entered into a drawing for a $500 store credit. Entry period runs until Oct. 22.
