Red Express Bus Route to North Fayetteville Starts Monday, Nov. 2
Razorback Transit is making route changes
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. —Razorback Transit is introducing a new Red Express bus route, starting Monday, Nov. 2, to make it faster and easier to get from the main campus to the north side of Fayetteville.
The experimental Red Express route will have scheduled departures from Union Station at 11:20 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:50 p.m. Monday through Friday. Designated stops will be at Garland Center, Garland Ave. and Holly Street, the Collier Drug Store on Millsap Ave, the Uptown Campus, and the Northwest Arkansas Mall.
The Red Express will only stop at designated Red Express stops. Razorback Transit will evaluate the daily use of this route through the end of the fall semester and decide during the Winter Break whether to continue it.
Razorback Transit will also be making schedule changes for Route 56, Red, Yellow, Green, and Brown bus routes to increase services where they are needed and reduce service on underused routes.
Updated schedules and maps will be available on the Transit and Parking Department web page at http://parking.uark.edu/ by Friday morning.
The Transit and Parking Department will continue to evaluate service levels and make necessary adjustments to meet the needs of the community.
