Global Food Opportunities Seminar Series to Present International Agricultural Development Speaker
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Global Food Opportunities Seminar Series will present Tim Davis of Texas A&M University speaking on benefits, challenges and opportunities for faculty and student engagement in international agricultural development. Davis, a professor of horticultural sciences and the regional director for Asia at the Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture, will deliver remarks from 1 to 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at AFLS Building room D115.
The event is presented by the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences International Programs Office and the Department of Horticulture.
Davis will share his expertise in international agricultural development and will discuss future opportunities. Student speakers Jennifer Clampitt and Austin Naeger will also share their global experiences. A panel discussion and question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
