UAConnect Is Unveiled

Two highly anticipated changes to the university's student information system were unveiled earlier today. The system's original name, ISIS, has been retired. UAConnect has taken its place and is offering students, faculty and staff a new way to access their accounts.

In past years, faculty and staff have been required to maintain one or more separate passwords to access different areas of the system.  Beginning today, all campus users will log in to UAConnect and Reporting through the UARK Central Login utilizing uark credentials, removing the need for extra passwords.

Since the university's student information system was originally unveiled, it has matured from a single application into a powerful student data system that interacts with a large number of dependencies critical to the success of students and the daily business of the university.

"We feel that it was appropriate to kick off our two year phase of upgrades and enhancements with a new name that reflects the current and future use of our student information system," said Dave Dawson, associate vice provost for enrollment services and university registrar.  "We are excited about the enhancements we have unveiled today and look forward to the changes that will be brought forth in the coming months."
