RSSP Faculty Training Available for Pivot, RazorGrant, NSF/NIH Biosketches

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is offering several training sessions this spring semester for faculty who are interested in finding external funding for their scholarship.

The sessions will focus on three areas: Pivot, an online resource for identifying, tracking, and sharing grant-funding opportunities; RazorGrant, the university’s electronic grant-processing system; and the current National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health biographical sketch formats.

Pivot training topics will include claiming a Pivot profile, keyword and sponsor searches, saving searches, and sharing opportunities.

The Pivot training sessions are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 18 and and 3:30 p.m. on March 7. Both sessions will be held in Arkansas Union, Room A354.

RazorGrant training topics will include creating a RazorGrant document, principal investigator and co-principal investigator certifications, working with the grant specialist, and routing and approval completion.

A RazorGrant training session is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 16 in the Arkansas Union, Room A354.

The biosketch preparation training will focus on a review of the NSF and NIH biographical sketch guidelines, and biosketch templates will be provided. Workshops are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on March 2 and 10:30 a.m. on April 4. Both workshops will be held in Mullins Library, Room 104.
