Razorback Sports Medicine Symposium Set for Feb. 20

The 10th annual Razorback Winter Sports Medicine Symposium will take place Saturday, Feb. 20, in the auditorium (Room 166) of the Graduate Education Building on the University of Arkansas campus.

Online registration is open and a full schedule is available on the registration page.

The symposium is open to students, professors, coaches, teachers, physicians, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Speakers include Darren Johnson, team physician for the University of Kentucky; Chris Arnold and Terry Sites, team physicians for the University of Arkansas; Fraser Leversedge, team physician for Duke University; Kaitlin Gallagher, assistant professor of exercise science at the University of Arkansas; and Laurel Sexton, a physical therapist at Washington Regional Medical Center.

The symposium is presented by the graduate athletic training education program at the University of Arkansas and Advanced Orthopaedic Specialists in Fayetteville. Continuing education units are available for attendance. Cost varies by profession.

Graduate students will present their research at the symposium.
