2016 Teaching Team Travel Grant Awards Announced

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Wally Cordes Teaching and Faculty Support Center is pleased to announce the faculty recipients of the center's 2016 Teaching Team Travel Grant Awards.   

A total of 17 team grant proposals were received from more than 40 faculty across campus. The teams will receive a total of $20,226 in funding. The teams receiving funding and the conferences that they will attend are the following:

  • Lindsey Aloia (J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Communication), Sarah Hernandez (College of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering) and Kelly Hammond (Fulbright College, Department of History) 2016 Teaching Professor Technology Conference, September 30-October 2
  • Kevin Brady (College of Education and Health Professions, Department of Curriculum and Instruction) and Kenda Grover (College of Education and Health Professions, Department of Rehabilitation, Human Resources and Communication Disorders) OLC Innovate 2016, November 16-18
  • Kate Chapman (Fulbright College, Department of Psychological Sciences), April Rand (Fulbright College, School of Social Work) and Claire Terhune (Fulbright College, Department of Anthropology) 2016 Transforming Undergraduate STEM Education: Implications for 21st Century Society AAC&U's Network for Academic Renewal and Project Kaleidoscope, November 3-5
  • Catherine Shoulders (Dale Bumpers College of Agriculture, Food and Life Sciences, Department of Agricultural Education, Communications and Technology), Kathleen Jogan (Fulbright College, Department of Anthropology) and Kelly Johnson (College of Education and Health Professions, Eleanor Mann School of Nursing) North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture Annual Conference, June 20-25
