Wi-Fi Improvements Ongoing, Two Buildings Completed
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Wi-Fi expansion has progressed in several buildings this week as part of the Achieve IT: Network Everywhere project.
Improved Wi-Fi is now available in Stone House South. New Wi-Fi will also be available in the Rosen Alternative Pest Control Center starting at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 10, following a brief Wi-Fi outage.
In preparation for installing new wireless access points, cabling has been completed in 13 out of 30 academic buildings so far. IT Services network engineers and contractors are currently working to add cabling in the following buildings:
- John W. Tyson Building
- Fine Arts Building
- Leflar Law Center
Wi-Fi improvements in all academic buildings are expected to be completed by early fall. Updated information about the Wi-Fi expansion, as well as a feedback form to communicate with university network engineers, is available on the Network Everywhere page of the Campus IT website.
