Associate CIO Candidate Paige Francis to Present

IT Services announces an on-campus public presentation of a candidate for the associate CIO for academic technologies and shared services position. Paige Francis will present at 10 a.m. today in Reynolds Auditorium on "How do we take the progress we've made so far with the Achieve IT: Excellence in Technology initiative and grow a mature and vibrant IT community?"

Francis is a University of Arkansas alumna with a bachelor's in communication. She is currently the CIO of Fairfield University in Connecticut. With over 15 years of information technology leadership in hospitality, tax software/finance and higher education, she also previously served as the CIO at Northwest Arkansas Community College, the manager of web systems for Thomas-Reuters, and the web team developer/manager at Dave and Buster's Inc. She holds a master's in computer information systems from the University of Phoenix.

The new associate CIO will be responsible for developing and communicating a shared service and user support vision for the university. Reporting directly to the CIO and serving on the CIO leadership team, the associate CIO will work with stakeholders, IT managers and IT directors in schools and departments across the university to support campuswide shared services.

The campus community is encouraged to attend and provide feedback.
