Password Manager Update Allows Easier Authentication
IT Services announces an update that will change the way users log into Password Manager. The update includes simplified login screens and UARK password reset options. This version, piloted in April for new user account activations, will be available for all users starting Tuesday, June 7.
A preview of the new login is available by going to password.uark.edu and clicking the "Try the new version" link.
This change sets the stage for future improvements in Password Manager that will make it easier and more secure to update a forgotten password. Future updates will include the ability to use alternative email addresses and SMS text messaging to reset UARK passwords.
