Join University Recreation as they say thank you to their members with their seventh annual UREC Membership Appreciation Lunch on Tuesday, July 19. This free event, which will take in place in Gym 2 of the HPER building from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., is open to all UREC members. Those interested in becoming a UREC member are also encouraged to attend.

Attendees will be served food and refreshments, which will include hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, vegetarian options, and sides. Games will be available for recreation, and early attendees will receive a complimentary UREC tote bag while supplies last.

"UREC's Member Appreciation Lunch is always a fun opportunity to thank our members, demonstrate programming and facility updates and changes, and hear from our members about their UREC experience," said Jeremy Battjes, UREC director.

This event will provide an opportunity for attendees to visit with UREC staff, tour the facility, and learn more about the new UREC Train and UREC Cycle studios opening in the fall. UREC recently renovated two racquetball courts, transforming them into fully equipped spaces for small group training, personal training, and group cycle classes.
