Paid Research Study on Alcohol Intoxication in Young Adults

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Alcohol consumers between the ages of 21 and 29 years may be eligible to participate in a research study on the effects of alcohol intoxication on young adults, conducted by an interdisciplinary team of researchers from the departments of psychological science, health, human performance and recreation; and School of Human Environmental Sciences at the University of Arkansas.

The study will involve a private interview with a researcher, completion of computerized questionnaires, and may involve consuming alcoholic beverages. Participation in the study may take as long as seven hours. Participants will be compensated at a rate of $15 per hour of participation. The study will be conducted on evenings and weekends to accommodate most schedules.
