Experience Music: Community Music School Opens Fall Registration With Three New Group Classes
The Community Music School will add three new group music courses for the upcoming fall semester. The new courses will focus on cultivating skills on guitar, piano, or Afro-Latin hand drums. Students will learn about rhythm, musical terms, and expressing their own creativity in a collaborative setting.
"Our new music courses grow the opportunities for students of all ages and skill levels to experience the joys of making music in a fun, no-stress environment" said Kim Jones, director of the Community Music School.
The new classes join the school's traditional musical opportunities, which include the Suzuki Music School, Magic Note Studio, Master Chorale, Children's Choir, and a robust private lessons program.
"We believe in the power of music to enrich life at any age or skill level" said Jones. "These classes offer opportunities for anyone from three years old to adulthood to learn and grow musically."
Fall courses will begin the week of Aug. 22. Prospective students can learn more on classes and register online at the school's website.
