QuickSearch hunts down books and ebooks, articles and ejournals, theses and dissertations, plus conference proceedings, videos, music, images, manuscripts, maps, and more.

QuickSearch, provided by the University Libraries, is your first stop for exploring our collections. This high-powered search engine is the perfect place to start your research — it's simple, fast, and far reaching.

Instead of starting with a particular provider, database, or content type, users can now access a wide array of resources at once, including items beyond our local holdings.

QuickSearch hunts down books and ebooks, articles and ejournals, theses and dissertations, plus conference proceedings, videos, music, images, manuscripts, standards, maps, and more. A single search in QuickSearch can return records from all of these sources.

Comprehensive, discipline-focused searches on a topic may still require the use of subject specific databases, and off-campus users will want to login with their UARK account for the most complete QuickSearch experience. One tip: vague or short searches may return too many results, but searches that include well refined search terms or phrases in quotes will return fewer, more refined results.

For more information, please visit our QuickSearch FAQ, or try it out at the QuickSearch tab on our homepage. You can always reach our librarians for assistance at uark.libanswers.com, and follow us on Twitter for updates and news.
