Hog Wild Tailgates, hosted by the Arkansas Alumni Association, are held prior to every home football game at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House and everyone is welcome to attend.

Tailgates begin two and one half hours before kickoff and close 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Every tailgate will feature the Razorback Marching Band, U of A Cheerleaders and live music. The Sept. 3 tailgate will include music by long-time Fayetteville band The Wranglers. Three members of the band are alumni, one of which was the manager for the Razorback football team in the 1990s, said Julie Simpson, assistant director of facilities and special events. The Silvershakers will entertain guests with their tunes at the rest of the season's tailgates.

Both the indoor and outdoor areas of the house are open. Tailgaters can check out university memorabilia without missing the day's big football games, which will be shown on large TV screens throughout the house.

There will also be special activities at some of the tailgates. The Sept. 17 tailgate will feature an inflatable joust provided by Space Walk of NWA, and on Oct. 8, guests can ride Buckingham, provided by 16:9 Entertainment. For the Homecoming tailgate Oct. 15, capture fun moments and memories in the Flashbacks Photo Booth NWA. All activities are free.

Members of the Arkansas Alumni Association can preregister for a catered meal and drink tickets for $15. Nonmembers can register for $20, and the cost for children ages 2-12 is $10. Walk-Up prices are $20 for members, $25 for nonmembers and $15 for children. Catered meal menus vary each game, and there are limited quantities for walk-ups, Simpson added.

There will also be several food trucks and vendors with delicious food. The food area in the back parking lot includes Razordaddy's, Tyler's Craft BBQ, Baller, Puritan Brew (coffee), El Lagunero, Pedal Pops and Fork & Crust Pie Co.
