Small Business Center Offers 'Ask the Tech Experts'

University of Arkansas researchers and entrepreneurs are invited to participate in "Ask the Tech Experts" on Tuesday, Sept. 13.

The free event, sponsored by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at the Sam M. Walton College of Business, will take place from 8 a.m. until noon on the second floor of the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development.

Participants will have an opportunity to engage in one-on-one sessions with eight Arkansas-based tech experts such as Steve Stanley, senior manager of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission; Sharon Ballard, president and chief executive officer of Enable Ventures, Inc., and Jeff and Brett Amerine, leaders of Startup Junkie Consulting. The tech experts have a wide breadth of knowledge and experience in areas ranging from commercialization to state and federal funding programs and intellectual property. 

Between one-on-one sessions, participants may attend guided demonstrations of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center's extensive market research services offered to Northwest Arkansas businesses and entrepreneurs.
