Applications for Ferritor Award for Departmental Excellence in Teaching Due Nov. 21

The annual Daniel E. Ferritor Award for Departmental Excellence in Teaching will be awarded to the department or academic unit on campus that best displays excellence in teaching.  This department will receive $10,000 and a trophy, as well as having the unit name placed on a university plaque housed in that department for a year. Award applications are due on or before Monday, Nov. 21.

Applications are limited to eight pages (single-spaced, 12-point font) plus a one-page executive summary and up to eight pages of supplementary materials.  Complete award criteria and application procedures can be found at facultydev.uark.edu/investing-in-our-faculty/ferritor-award/index.php.

The Ferritor Award, named in honor of former Chancellor Dan Ferritor, is co-sponsored by the Office of the Provost and the Teaching Academy.
