Join Career Track Razorbacks to Prepare for Your Career

The Professional Development Institute has a new name! It's now Career Track Razorbacks! Career Track Razorbacks helps students go from backpack to briefcase or undergraduate to graduate school.

Career Track Razorbacks is a free, nationally recognized program just for University of Arkansas students that helps students to develop and refine professional skills in critical thinking and problem solving, professionalism, leadership, oral/written communication, information technology application, teamwork, and career management. These competencies, valued, and sought after by employers, are acquired through the completion of self-paced modules including a career action plan, mock interviews, resume and cover letter reviews, informational interviews, and networking, etc. The program is committed to enhancing students' professionalism and equipping them with the tools it takes to be competitive in today's job market.

Students who join are added to the Career Track Razorbacks Blackboard course and can start modules right away at their own pace!

Students who complete all seven modules and three electives become Career Track Razorbacks graduates and receive a free CTR T-shirt, a graduation cord, letter of recognition from their college dean, a certificate of completion, LinkedIn recommendation upon request, recognition at career fairs and increased placement outcome results. Plus, students can add Career Track Razorbacks to their resume!

The number of CTR students who graduated from the program during the 2015 academic year was 247, an increase of 15.4 percent from the previous year.
