“The mission for Technology Ventures is to support our faculty inventors as they create world-class research at the University of Arkansas,” Engle said. “Our goal is to facilitate an easy transition from lab bench to market and also provide inventors with the tools needed for their endeavors.

Engle, who joined Technology Ventures in 2004, intends to inform, motivate and inspire faculty at the Lunch and Learn events so they can confidently maneuver through the sometimes challenging technology transfer gauntlet.

“I want the faculty to feel comfortable contacting our office any time they have a question about the process,” she said. “Faculty should feel equipped with all the information they need.”
