Army ROTC's Ranger Challenge Team Takes First Place in Regional Competition

This past weekend the Army ROTC's Ranger Challenge Team traveled to Camp Robinson in Little Rock to compete in the Regional Ranger Challenge competition. They went head-to-head against various school's including University of Central Arkansas, Oklahoma State University, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Arkansas State University, Cameron University, and University of Central Oklahoma.
The teams took on various tasks including a leadership reaction course, marksmanship (EST), grenade lane, obstable course, weapons assembly/disassembly, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, a timed 6 mile ruck, one rope bridge, radio communications, and IED identification. Through the leadership of CDT Logan and his team leaders, CDT Chavez and CDT Jeter, the team excelled through the events, and came out on top. They will proceed to the brigade competition in San Antonio in the upcoming weeks.
