Kappa Delta Pi Inducts New Members Majoring in Education
Kappa Delta Pi is an honor society for education majors.
The Kappa Delta Pi Alpha Beta Chapter at the University of Arkansas inducted 42 new members into the education honor society on Oct. 30.
Mike Daugherty, head of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education and Health Professions, gave the keynote speech.
"Dr. Daugherty delivered an inspirational message to the initiates, friends and family that attended the initiation service," said Danielle Phillips, who is the membership chair of the club. "All current members, officers and counselors of Kappa Delta Pi are thrilled to welcome all 42 members into this educational honor society."
The membership requirements cover grade-point average, completion of a set number of credit hours and demonstrated leadership qualities.
