Students to Give Presentations on College Athletics Research

University of Arkansas students Megan Turk and Brandon Gorman will present their research at this week's Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series.

The event will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in Room 311 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building.

Megan Turk will talk about "Out and About: Exploration of the 'Coming Out' Process for Collegiate Student-Athletics." Brandon Gorman will talk about "Men Who Coach Women." Both are studying recreation and sport management in the College of Education and Health Professions.

The seminars are free and open to the public. The series this week focuses on professional development. Refreshments will be served.
