Spring 2017 Schola Cantorum Auditioning for Limited Vacancies
Fall 2016 Schola Cantorum
The University of Arkansas Schola Cantorum, the premiere vocal ensemble at the U of A, will hold auditions for limited openings for the spring 2017 semester. Openings include spots for 2 sopranos, 2 altos, 2 tenors, and 1 bass.
Auditions will be held Dec. 5-7 by appointment with Stephen Caldwell, director of choral activities. Email him directly at stephenc@uark.edu to schedule an audition. Those with prior singing experience, especially former members of All-State honor choirs, are encouranged to audition.
Spring 2017 performance opportunities include several performances on campus, off campus at the Walton Arts Center for the VoiceJam 2017 festival, and on tour to Alma, Russelville, Little Rock and Batesville.

Spring Bike Drive Refurbishes Old Bikes for New Students
All donated bikes will be given to Pedal It Forward, a local nonprofit that will refurbish your bike and return it to the U of A campus to be gifted to a student in need. Hundreds of students have already benefited.
