Win a Bike: Sustainable Art Contest Ends Monday

Registration is now open for students who wish to participate in a sustainable art competition sponsored by University Housing.

Simply create a piece of art out of recyclable items or anything that would normally make its way to a landfill.

"The competition is an effort to showcase how recyclable items can be made beautiful and useful again," said Aja Pence, Housing's sustainability coordinator.

The top three prizes are a mountain bike, an ENO hammock or a Fayettechill T-shirt.

Pieces are due by 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, in the Arkansas Union International Connections Lounge. Entries will be judged by students and bypassers.

Please email: ajapence@uark.edu  to register for the competition.
