Movie Portrayals of Sex Is Topic of Research Presentation Friday

Two University of Arkansas doctoral students in public health will present research about sexual health from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, in Room 311 of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Building.
Sasha Canan and Mary Hunt, who will present "Understanding the Action in 'Lights, Camera, Action': Examining Sexual Behaviors and Sexual Consent Portrayals in Mainstream Films," are both members of the Sexuality Education & Consent Studies Laboratory at the U of A. Their faculty adviser is Kristen Jozkowski, associate professor.
The presentations are part of the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation Research Seminar Series. The seminars are free and open to the public. The series is intended to expose students and faculty to research being conducted in the department.
