UA Music Seeks Singer Songwriters for First Showcase Concert
Jake Hertzog, professor of guitar in the U of A Department of Music, and Jason Burrow, professor of musical theatre in the Department of Theatre, are happy to announce the first-ever UARK Singer Songwriter Showcase. This event will highlight the best original voices at the University of Arkansas. This showcase will partner singers with UAMusic musicians to perform the singer's original songs.
The Singer Songwriter Showcase will be April 19 in the Arkansas Union Theatre (Room 424). To be considered for the showcase concert, singers must audition with their original songs. Open auditions will take place Feb. 14 and 16 from 3-5 p.m. in the Music Building, room 114. Musicians will be provided for both the audition and the performance in April.
