FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas Police Department is taking extra steps to help increase students’ safety when they travel beyond campus for Spring Break. 

UAPD officers will do a basic safety checks on your car or truck, including the lighting, fluids and tires, any time between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 15 at the Reid Hall UAPD substation, Lot 41, 1365 W. Cleveland Street.

The check-up is free but students are encouraged to bring canned or nonperishable food items to donate to the Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry.
