Introducing New Collaboration Services for Faculty and Staff Through Office 365

Faculty and staff can now take advantage of a powerful collaboration tool for writing and sharing documents, scheduling meetings, sending email and more. Get started with Office 365 Groups by logging into outlook.office.com with your faculty or staff UARK email address and password and then clicking the plus icon (+) next to Groups in the menu on the left.

Office 365 Groups can be created for units, teams, projects, committees and more. Groups are searchable by their name, which is provided by the person who creates the group. Please review the guidelines for how to name your group to help avoid clutter and confusion as more employees and departments move to the new service.

With the activation of Groups in Office 365, faculty and staff also now have access to use the following productivity and collaboration tools: Planner, Power BI, Flow, Class Notebook, Yammer, SharePoint Newsfeed and Delve. Log into portal.office.com to find these services.

Learn more about what you can accomplish with Office 365 Groups. Get updates about campus technology services and events at twitter.com/uaits and facebook.com/uarkits.
