Cigarette Smokers Needed for Evaluating the Level of Oxidized Serum Proteins
Female and male cigarette smokers are wanted to participate in a project designed to evaluate the hypothesis that the oxidation rate of human proteins is elevated among people who are exposed to oxidative stresses such as smoking. For this reason, the researcher would like to ask if anyone is interested and willing to take part in this research project.
The participation is completely voluntary and of possible benefit to you may be the laboratory test results which may be useful to you in evaluation of your medical status. The project is approved by the U of A Institutional Review Board. All the information collected will be confidential to the extent allowed by law and university policy.
