You Asked, We Listened: The IT Help Desk Offers Chat Support and Expanded Hours
from Resource Space

You asked, and we listened! IT services now offers live chat during our IT Help Desk hours in addition to our traditional in-person, over the phone and email support. Last semester, we surveyed students on their view of technology at the University of Arkansas, and more than 700 students responded. Of those, 18 percent of students told us they preferred chat for technical support.

Students can visit its.uark.edu/help to use the new chat feature after logging in with their UARK account.

In addition to the new chat feature, we've expanded our tech support hours to include Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

IT Help Desk (479-575-2905):

  • Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Blackboard Learn Help Desk (479-575-6804):

  • Monday through Thursday: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Friday: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sunday: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

IT Services is committed to improving the experience of all users within the University of Arkansas community. Additional services and features will be released over time and we welcome the campus community's suggestions during this process.
