Alumni Association Hosts Re-Up Day April 26

Join the Arkansas Alumni Association at the third annual Re-Up Day on April 26 across campus.

This is your chance to either sign up or renew your student membership with the Student Alumni Association. Graduating students can upgrade their membership to officially join the Arkansas Alumni Association. And you don't have to be a graduate of the U of A to be a member. We invite faculty and staff to also join the Alumni Association. Between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., come by to join or renew your membership at one of the three locations — Union Mall, Brough Commons or Walton Shollmier Plaza.

The Student Alumni Association is the student chapter of the Arkansas Alumni Association. As the largest student organization on campus, SAA aims to preserve traditions, connect students to alumni, and engage students on campus. Its goal is to turn a students' four-year experience into a lifelong connection to the University of Arkansas, says Ryan Miller, associate director of student and young alumni outreach. Membership includes unique networking opportunities like Hearing from a Hog Dinners, exclusive giveaways such as BEAT Shirts, and member discounts including the University Bookstore, Starbucks, Puritan Brew and Fayettechill. An entire year's membership is only $20 and includes an exclusive member T-shirt.

Members of the Class of 2017 and graduating Graduate Students can become members of the Arkansas Alumni Association for a special discounted rate of just $35 for the first year. Can't make it to one of our locations to join on Re-Up Day? Join online at www.arkansasalumni.org/join and be sure to use the promo code REUP, which expires on 4/30/17 to get the discounted rate. Recent graduates who join will also receive an exclusive "My Name is on Senior Walk" T-shirt.

Faculty and Staff can join the association to show their Razorback pride at a discounted rate of $35. Be sure to use promo code FAST when joining online. Also, save the date for May 11 for our annual faculty/staff membership appreciation event.

Why join the Arkansas Alumni Association? Since January 2009, $5 of every annual membership and $50 of every life membership is dedicated to Arkansas Alumni need-based scholarships. Members can join a network of over 140,000 Arkansas alumni and strengthen their connection to campus through events, ARKANSAS magazine and @Arkansas monthly e-newsletter. Members also receive access to over 90 perks, including local, national and worldwide discounts.
