Milam Chosen to Direct Recruitment and Workforce Management

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Lisa Milam, an HR Partner in the University of Arkansas Human Resources Office, has been selected as the new Director of Recruitment and Workforce Management, effective April 17.

Milam’s duties will be to provide hands-on leadership to the team of HR Partners and be an HR Specialist in the areas of recruitment and employee relations, including oversight of the performance evaluation process. The vision for her team is to develop and implement effective talent acquisition and recruitment efforts and best practices in workforce management to foster diversity, engagement and excellence for faculty and staff.

Lisa Milam has been effective in learning our processes and culture, developing relationships on campus and assisting with employee relations issues. I appreciate the energy and enthusiasm that she brings to HR.”

Milam has a master’s degree in counseling and professional experience in both recruitment and higher education administration. She joined Human Resources in May 2016 as an HR Partner.
