Mathematical Sciences Hosts International Topology Conference, Public Lecture on April 27

The Department of Mathematical Sciences in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences will host the 2017 Redbud Topology Conference, an annual international conference run jointly with the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University.

The conference will run Friday and Saturday, April 28-29, with introductory talks for graduate and advanced undergraduate students taking place Thursday, April 27.

The Redbud Conference will feature 10 speakers, one of whom, Vincent Guirardel of Université de Rennes 1 in France, will give a colloquium talk aimed at a more general audience at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 27, in SCEN 322.
