Foster Youth Attending College Needed for Study; $30 Gift Card
Students who were in the foster care system after the age of 14 may be eligible to participate in a study about their perceptions of educational programs and support.
As a participant in this study, you will be asked about independent living programs, financial assistance, Department of Children and Family Services assistance, foster or group home impact and specific institutional programs.
Participation includes a short phone screening to determine eligibility to participate in the study and in-person interview. The interview will last approximately 45-60 minutes and focus on educational experiences in high school, transitioning to college, and in college.
Participants will receive a $30 Walmart gift card as compensation.
This protocol has been approved by the University of Arkansas Institutional Review Board for human subjects in research.
