Staff Senate Appreciation Picnic is this Thursday

The 19th annual Staff Appreciation Picnic and Vendor Fair is scheduled for this Thursday, May 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Click here for printable flyer.

Each year the Staff Senate plans and hosts this event to honor the hard-working staff at the University of Arkansas utilizing donations from local vendors and businesses. This event is made possible with the support of our generous vendors and through donoations. On the menu is hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, softdrinks, pastries, and ice cream.   

During the picnic university administrators, coaches, and faculty leaders will assist as guest servers to show their support of the U of A staff. Please bring your university I.D. cards to easily and quickly register for door prizes. Senators with I.D. card readers will be located at Gates 1 and 16 at the stadium. If you forget your I.D. that's okay a paper registration will also be available.

Additionally, Lots 72 & 73 will be open for free parking during the event and will not require a UA permit for parking during the picnic hours. Razorback Charters will also be running shuttles to and from Gate 1 between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shuttle stops will be FAMA (key office), Gate 1 at Razorback Stadium, Hotz Hall, Pat Walker Health Center, Waterman Hall on Maple Street, Old Main on Maple Street, Grad Ed Building on Maple, Bell Engineering on Dickson Street, Harmon Parking Garage, Starbucks on Dickson Street. Thanks to Razorback Transit, shuttles can be tracked real-time by visiting campusmaps.uark.edu and choosing Staff Picnic Shuttle found by clicking the bus icon.
