Handshake has replaced Razorback CareerLink.

The University of Arkansas Career Development Center and Walton Career Services launched Handshake on June 1!  

What is it? 

Handshake is the ultimate career network and recruiting platform for college students and young alumni. Over 120,000 employers, including 95 percent of Fortune 500 companies use Handshake to find students for all kinds of jobs.

Students, what does this mean for you?

  • Find the best jobs and internships of hundreds of top employers with the click of a button.
  • All current students have a profile on Handshake connected to the U of A which can be easily customized by adding a resume, profile picture, career interests, work experience, etc.
  • Get personalized job and internship recommendations based on your interests. 
  • View career fairs/events and research companies.
  • Schedule appointments with any career counselor easier than ever before. 
  • Access jobs/internships on the go with a user-friendly mobile experience.

Handshake replaced Razorback CareerLink which was suspended on May 31. Students will receive an email today, June 1, letting them know it is time to create their account, upload their resume, and set up their profile to start looking for jobs and internships! 

Faculty and staff, what does this mean for you?

  • Each office will be able to search and post jobs under a "Division" in Handshake.
  • Refer students searching for jobs and internships to a job search system which connects over 120,000 employers from every industry and region.
  • Quickly access any part of Handshake from a browser or mobile device, and see content tailored to your individual needs. 
  • Refer companies interested in hiring UA students to create an account and post jobs in Handshake.
