Over spring break, IT Services unveiled new 'Tech Spot' branding at all of its centers throughout campus. At Tech Spots, students can take advantage of services like tech support, printing, charging devices, computers and more. Just look for the red Tech Spot at computer labs and IT Help Desks located in the Arkansas Union, Northwest Quad and across campus.

Need help? Look for staff members wearing Tech Spot shirts. They are available to answer questions and get you the service you need to be successful.

"IT areas — computer labs, printing stations, the Student Tech Center — blend within their areas making it tough for students to find and use. We want to increase engagement to help bolster student success," Paige Francis, associate CIO, said. "The Tech Spot concept resulted in truly vibrant signage that not only screams 'use our technology' but it also clearly shows what exact technology and/or service is located within. We are excited to walk the talk of providing excellent tech service on campus."

IT Help Desk (479-575-2905) phone and chat support is now available on Saturdays in addition to normal hours. Students and faculty can also call or chat the Blackboard Learn Help Desk (479-575-6804) for online learning support.

Did you miss it? Virtual desktops were installed in four Tech Spot labs last spring, giving students an improved experience with faster, more reliable and more efficient equipment. Read more about how virtual desktops are improving the student experience.
