College of Engineering Welcomes Two New Development Officers

Ethan Hayman and Autumn Lewis

Ethan Hayman and Autumn Lewis recently joined the College of Engineering development team. Hayman began March 27 as development and external relations officer. In this role, he is responsible for stewarding and cultivating relationships with alumni and donors, as well as managing stewardship efforts for the college, in conjunction with the director of development and external relations.

Previously, Hayman was a development officer in the College of Science and Health Professions at Northeastern State University. He also worked as a research assistant for the Office of Community and Government Relations at NSU. Hayman holds a bachelor's degree in biology from NSU.

Lewis began her role as assistant director of development June 19. She is responsible for initiating and cultivating relationships with alumni and donor prospects that will lead to major gift solicitation and assists the director of development and external relations in the management of fundraising efforts for the College of Engineering.

Lewis has worked for the National Council on Teacher Quality in Washington, D.C. as development officer and state policy analyst. She has also worked as a staff assistant in the Office of Senator Mark Pryor and as director of advance and auxiliary relations for the Pryor Senate Campaign. Lewis graduated summa cum laude from the U of A with degrees in political science and economics.

"With their varied skills and drive, Ethan and Autumn are excellent additions to our team," said Emily Wood, College of Engineering director of development and external relations. "They both hit the ground running and are quickly making a big difference in our development and external relations efforts. Their enthusiasm and drive will be instrumental to the college's success in Campaign Arkansas."
