WelcomeHealth Offering Medical and Dental Services to Uninsured Children

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – WelcomeHealth, Northwest Arkansas’ Free Health Center, is now providing free dental services to uninsured children from low income families, and will begin to offer limited medical services to these children as well, starting in August.

WelcomeHealth has been providing free medical care since 1986 and free dental care since 1988. It is located on 1100 North Woolsey Avenue in Fayetteville.

WelcomeHealth offers adult medical services in internal medicine, gynecology, pulmonology, neurology, mental health, physical therapy, diabetes education, nutrition education, and referrals. It has walk-in clinics for current patients.

The dental clinic provides comprehensive oral and dental exams, dental x-rays, dental hygiene cleanings, restorative fillings, fluoride treatments, sealants, tooth extractions, limited denture services, and dental emergency exams. Adult services are free to uninsured, underinsured, and insured low-income individuals.
