University Recreation Offering Small Group Training in Fall 2017
Small Group Training classes include TRX Kettlebell, which incorporates strength and cardio in a full-body workout.
Small group training offers a unique opportunity to explore a new dimension of fitness by blending the camaraderie of a group fitness class with the individualized attention of a certified personal trainer.
Small group training classes are offered at a variety of different times throughout the day, in order to fit any schedule. Classes are conveniently located at both the HPER building and the UREC Fitness Center in the Arkansas Union.
Class offerings include UREC RazorFitness, TRX Kettlebell, Foam Roll Yoga and Outdoor Athlete.
Each class meets twice per week, with each individual session lasting 50 minutes. Classes will meet from Sept. 18 through Nov. 16, yet the cost for students to participate in all sessions is only $25. The cost for all other UREC membership types is $35.
Complimentary demos will be held at the scheduled class times and locations for no cost from Monday through Thursday, Sept. 11-14.
Register for Small Group Training at the UREC Main Office, located in HPER 225, the UREC Fitness Center in the Arkansas Union, or online at urecmembers.uark.edu.
Those interested can visit University Recreation's website to view the fall 2017 Small Group Training schedule, registration packet and more information for all session dates.
