The scene at the start of last year's Bake Sale.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – There are many ways to contribute to the U of A United Way’s “United We Win” campaign – and some are tasty and fun, while others are high-tech and innovative.

The Facilities Management staff are once again pooling their talents for their annual Bake and Craft Sale, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 13, in the front office of the Facilities building on Razorback Road. They will have baked goods, handmade crafts, Starbucks coffee and lemonade. All the proceeds will go to the United We Win campaign. Get there early – these goodies tend to go fast.

The entire campus – and particularly students – will get another chance to donate to the campaign with the first ever $1United social media drive. Starting Tuesday, Oct. 24, and running for 24 hours, everyone will have the opportunity to use the Venmo app to contribute $1 (one dollar) to United We Win.

Don’t have a Venmo app? It’s free to download to your mobile device and easy to set up.

Or, you can use your device to go to https://unitedway.uark.edu and hit Donate Now.
