Comments and Questions Requested on New Arkansas Concealed Carry Rules
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas State Police has proposed changes to its rules regarding permits to carry concealed handguns in the state, and proposed new rules for enhanced carry permits on college campuses and other locations to comply with new Arkansas laws 562 and 859.
The State Police are asking from written comments and questions on the proposed rules. The deadline for submitting comments and questions is 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10.
Comments and questions can be sent to the attention of Mary Claire McLaurin at mary.claire.mclaurin@asp.arkansas.gov or by regular mail to the Arkansas State Police at 1 State Police Plaza Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209.

The proposed enhanced carry rules are primarily in Chapter 7 and 13 of the document.
